The City County Council is seeking public input as it proceeds with redistricting. It has rescheduled a public hearing before its Committee on Rules and Public Policy for July 16. This will be the second opportunity for public comment, and a third will be on July 23, if it proves necessary. ….. DPW is the organization under which the new Stormwater Drainage program is being managed. Any billing problems or inquiries regarding the drainage projects that will soon begin should be directed there. ..It bears repeating again this month, that the City has created the Emergency Management Notification System whereby citizens can receive e-mail to stay informed and up to date about Indy’s preparedness, alerts, watches, the new homeland security warnings, and crime watch info.
