Comprehensive Plan
Indianapolis Insight Implementation Committee

The Community Values Component is the first phase of the comprehensive plan update.  It contains, among other things, 283 recommendations for new or revised policies, procedures, programs or ordinances as they relate to the development of the city or to the mission of DMD. Members of the Implementation Committee will meet on a regular basis, assisting the city in prioritizing and implementing the recommendations of the Community Values Component.  In addition, the group will work to increase public participation in the planning process.  The Implementation Committee was created as a direct result of community feedback received early in the planning process.  Members of the Indianapolis Insight Implementation Committee are:

Although the meetings are being held on a township basis, the results from each township will be put together to form an overall Land Use Plan for Marion County.
