Annual Meeting January 17 McANA’s Annual Meeting will be held on Saturday, January 17th, at 9:00 am. It will begin just before the General Membership Meeting at the North United Methodist Church on the northwest corner of 38th and Meridian Streets. The main business to be conducted is the election of Officers and Members of the Board of Directors. At the January 7th Board Meeting, the Slate offered by the Nominating Committee was approved by the Board of Directors. Further nominations will be taken from the floor at the Annual Meeting. The names of those so nominated, will be written into the spaces on the ballot marked ‘Write-In Candidates’. All member Neighborhood Associations may place one vote for each Officer, and one vote for the Director for the Township in which they operate. A sample ballot is printed below. McANA Officers are elected to one-year terms. The Directors are elected to two-year terms and only one Director position from each Township is up for election in any given year. Because two positions in Lawrence Township are open this year, one will be for a one-year term and the other a two-year term, so that they will overlap in the future. Marion County Alliance of Neighborhood Associations One ballot per each member association. All member associations may vote for officers of McANA but only those member associations in a given township may vote for the director of that township.
