HEC's Frontline Award for 2004 The Hoosier Environmental Council’s Frontline Award for determined activism recognizes individuals working aggressively at the local level. This year’s Frontline award recipient, Dr. Pat Andrews of Indianapolis, does not shy away from tough, controversial or complex issues. Since first learning of the proposed I-69 highway route through Decatur Township, she has educated neighborhood organizations in Marion County and helped organize their involvement in this issue. Dr. Andrews is noted for her thorough research and selfless dedication to improving Marion County’s neighborhoods. send comments
